Terms of Service

Agreement

By using Plinth ("Service"), you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use the Service. "We", "us", and "our" refer to Plinth. "You" and "your" refer to you, the user.

The service

Plinth is an AI-native website builder. You create and manage websites through conversation with AI assistants (via MCP) or through our dashboard at app.plinth.page. We host your sites on Cloudflare Pages at yoursite.plinth.page or on a custom domain you connect or purchase.

Accounts

• You must provide a valid email address to create an account.
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account.
• You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service.
• One person or entity per account. Accounts cannot be shared.

Your content

You own your content. Plinth does not claim any ownership over the websites, files, text, images, or other content you create or upload. You grant us a license to host, serve, and display your content solely to provide the Service.

Acceptable use

You agree not to use Plinth to:

• Host illegal content or content that violates others' rights
• Distribute malware, phishing pages, or spam
• Circumvent rate limits, abuse the API, or interfere with the Service
• Impersonate others or misrepresent your identity
• Resell access to Plinth without our permission

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

Plans and billing

• Free plan: Limited features as described on our pricing page. Free forever.
• Paid plans: Billed monthly or annually via Stripe. Prices are listed on our billing page.
• Cancellation: You can cancel anytime through the Stripe customer portal. You retain access until the end of the billing period.
• Refunds: We offer refunds on a case-by-case basis. Email help@plinth.page.
• We may change pricing with 30 days notice.

Domain registration

If you purchase a domain through Plinth:

• Domains are registered via Porkbun, an ICANN-accredited registrar. Porkbun is the sponsoring registrar for all domains purchased through Plinth.
• Pricing: Domain prices are displayed before purchase. Prices include a service fee and vary by TLD. Premium domains have higher registration and renewal costs — these are clearly marked.
• Registration: WHOIS privacy is included free on all domains.
• Renewal: Domains auto-renew by default. We send expiration reminders at 30 days, 7 days, and 1 day before expiry. If a domain is not renewed, it may become unavailable.
• Domain purchases are non-refundable once the domain is registered, as registration fees are paid to the registry and cannot be reversed.
• Domain registrations are subject to ICANN Registrant Rights & Responsibilities and Porkbun's privacy policy.
• If you cancel your Plinth account, purchased domains remain registered until expiry. Contact help@plinth.page to transfer a domain to another registrar.

Uptime and availability

We strive for high availability but do not guarantee 100% uptime. The Service is provided on Cloudflare's infrastructure. We are not liable for downtime caused by Cloudflare, DNS propagation, or other factors outside our control.

Intellectual property

The Plinth name, logo, and software are our intellectual property. You may not use our branding without permission. The Service itself (code, design, tools) is owned by Plinth.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Plinth is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, or goodwill. Our total liability for any claim arising from the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Plinth harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Service, your content, or your violation of these terms.

Termination

• By you: Delete your account or email help@plinth.page. We will delete your data within 30 days.
• By us: We may suspend or terminate your account for violations of these terms, with or without notice.

Changes

We may update these terms. Material changes will be communicated via email or dashboard notification at least 14 days before taking effect. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict of law principles.
